First released 2003

From 2002 - 2013 Microgramma Medium Extended was the musical research lab of Daniel Herrmann (Flug 8) and Torstn Kauke (Superstolk).

After they had fired the singer and both guitar players of their former band, they decided to keep on as a Bass/Drum live band (with Daniel drumming and playing Keyboard at the same time), using prepared Tapes and digital sound generators to fill the musical (and semantical) space around their Bass/Drum Grooves...

Heavily influenced by Krautrock, New Wave Mutant-Disco and the Techno/House Scene in Offenbach at that time, their reperetoire was an unique mixture between free floating instrumental krautrock/ electronic excursions on one side - and short and raw post punk explosions on the other. As you can clearly hear on "A".

"A" was the first of 3 Demo CD-Rs ("A","B" and "C"), the Band planed to release in 2003 as a documentation of their musical development ("B" and "C" remain unreleased to this day). It was released in a handmade edition of 50, using the cardboard-Covers of free AOL-Messenger-CDs) turning the inside out. (Each of these CDs had its own individual password - that's where the lyrics for "Instant Messenger" came from!). "A" also contains "slave 4 u" - a quasi-cover version of the Britney Spears hit - and some edits from a never released soundtrack made for cologne fashion label "Little red riding hood"
